My name is Christy White and I am the chef and owner of Whirlybird Granola in Cincinnati, Ohio. I have had a lifelong passion for health and nutrition, and granola has always been a very large part of that passion. I started this company in 2011 when I could not find any granolas that tasted great and did not have all the added sugar, additives, and fillers.
We take pride in all of our ingredients. Whirlybird Granola is Certified gluten-free, non-GMO Project Verified, and vegan. Every bag is made by hand in small batches and bursting with flavor. We use Ohio maple syrup and organic agave nectar to sweeten our granola, and we do not use canola oil like most other granolas. We use an extra virgin olive oil to ensure that you get all the nutrients without the GMO’s.
Since baking every batch out of my kitchen in 2011, we have moved from a rental kitchen, baking at all hours with my entire family by my side, to a commercial bakery in order to support our growing demand both in stores and online. I have two twin boys that were born in 2011, the same year that I started my business. They truly served as my inspiration and the reason that I work so hard. I have another little girl that was born in 2013, and together these little birds make up my heart.
